 Many people wonder what they should wear when they use a tanning bed or tanning booth. You really want to wear as little as possible so that you can get an even tan all over. Since you will be tanning in private, you can even choose to tan nude if you are comfortable doing so.
For those individuals who aren’t comfortable with tanning nude, you can choose to wear a bathing suit or even a tube top and underwear. Some people prefer this for sanitary reasons, but your tanning salon should be cleaning everything after each person uses it. If you are trying to get tanned for an upcoming vacation, wear the bathing suit you are taking with you so that you have the perfect tan for it. Some people prefer to wear there bra and panties in a tanning bed because they want to protect those areas from burning due to their very sensitive skin. They also want to be able to compare the color before and after so having some areas covered up is a great way to track your tanning results. Regardless of the clothing you choose to wear, or not to wear if you so desire, you have to select proper eye protection regardless of how long your tanning sessions are. You need them for both tanning beds and tanning booths. The result of not wearing such eye protection is severe damage to your eyes including the retina, cornea, and it can result in cataracts. Most tanning salons only give you a few minutes to get undressed before your tanning session starts, and another few minutes to get yourself back together when it is over. This being said, make sure what ever you choose to wear for your tanning sessions are comfortable and you can remove/add them quickly.
